Distant Shores Media is a non-profit ministry working together with believers and churches around the world to create open discipleship tools that are free of charge and are given away with the freedom to translate, adapt, improve and redistribute without any legal concern or copyright infringement. By combining solid Biblical resources, cutting-edge technology and a strong multi-lingual focus, we are enabling discipleship where it has never been possible before.

We think the most effective discipleship tools are royalty-free, legally redistributable and free to extend and modify. So everything we create we release under a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike License license that sets it free to be used, refined, improved and given away to others.

We also think that the best way to create these tools is to open their creation up to the worldwide church and create them together. Door43 is an open-membership website where any believer, anywhere in the world can work together with others to create, translate, adapt and distribute discipleship resources that are completely free & open.
