Bruce Erickson, President

Mr. Erickson founded Distant Shores Media in 2003 to provide training and consultative support for media ministries around the world. He has over 40 years experience in business and all aspects of Christian radio. For the past 13 years, he has worked with Christian radio stations and ministries in a number of countries. He is experienced in Intellectual Property law and its application within ministry organizations.

Paul Fifield, Vice President

Paul Fifield is an entrepreneur and small-business owner. He is the owner and pilot of Fantasy Flights Balloon Tours, a commercial hot air balloon company based in the Flathead Valley of Northwestern Montana. He has served as an advisor on numerous ministry trips to Turkey and other Eastern European countries.

Rick Haun, Secretary

Rick Haun is a retired energy consultant after having spent twenty six years with Purvin & Gertz, an international energy consulting firm, following his nine years with Conoco's processing engineering department. Mr. Haun has served as an advisor on radio consulting projects in Turkey and the Congo, as well as volunteering with Wycliffe Associates on mission projects in Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, and Australia.

Stan Pine, Treasurer

Stan Pine has been a business owner for more than forty years and is President of Cross Enterprise Restaurants, Inc., operating Qdoba Mexican Grill franchises. Mr. Pine was a CPA with Arthur Andersen & Co, and partner in Pine, Duffy & Gordan, CPA’s. Mr. Pine has served for more than eight years as a board member and Treasurer for Northwest Healthcare, Inc. in addition to numerous other boards. He has traveled overseas extensively.

Joseph Coco, Director

Joseph Coco is owner of Coco Enterprises, LLC., a wealth management firm, and Coco Leadership Concepts, a consulting and public speaking firm. He is also Vice Chairman of Whitefish Christian Academy, a classical Christian school. Along with his wife Linda, he co-founded WealthMasters, an active bible-based ministry that teaches financial stewardship.

Aaron Erickson, Director

Aaron Erickson has served as Director of Sales for Nextalk, an accessibility software company and helped develop the company’s social media program. Prior to that, Mr. Erickson was a Sales Representative for Select Comfort. He has provided computer software training and business research for Christian radio stations in many parts of the world.

Executive Leadership

Timothy Jore, Executive Director

Timothy Jore grew up overseas and, after earning degrees in Biblical studies and Linguistics, worked for ten years as part of a Bible translation organization. He served in Brazil, Papua New Guinea and Thailand in various translation-related roles before joining Distant Shores Media in 2010. In addition to work in Bible translation, he has experience in cross-cultural education, intellectual property rights, software development, project management, security research, and a broad range of computer and web technologies. He currently serves on the leadership team of the Mobile Ministry Form and Bethany International's Publish for All project.
